本岗位隶属于由 General Counsel 领导的国际法务团队,定位为产品业务团队的法务 BP,主要为美图秀秀、美颜相机及公司新上线的国际产品提供法务支持。岗位工作地点可在深圳或香港,需要不定期前往厦门总部出差。
主要职责:
· 支持国际业务团队的移动应用和网站法务与合规工作,保障产品在目标市场合规上线并平稳运营;
· 跟进全球数据保护和 ePrivacy 法律法规动态,评估业务影响并形成可落地的合规建议;
· 协助建立和完善内部政策与流程,识别潜在数据泄露、版权侵权等风险,落实隐私合规要求,包括跨境数据传输和数据泄露响应;
· 提供日常法律支持,按需完成团队安排的其他专项或临时任务。
任职要求:
· 普通法法域法学本科或以上学历;
· 在普通法法域取得律师执业资格,具备 3-8 年执业经验(PQE),专业领域覆盖数据保护、ePrivacy 及知识产权法律;
· 拥有中大型科技公司移动应用及网站相关的公司法务与合规经验;
· 中英文书面及口语流利,能以普通话作为工作语言;
· 能采用风险平衡、灵活且可落地的合规方案,在业务推进与法律风险之间做出清晰判断;
· 工作严谨,对细节有较高把控,能独立推动所负责事项并闭环;
· 具备跨部门协作能力,能有效协调内部业务、产品、技术及外部律师、顾问等专业机构。
About This Role:
Meitu is an AI-powered imaging software company with products used across Asia, North America, and Latin America, including BeautyPlus, AirBrush, Vmake Labs and etc. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our International Legal Team, reporting to the General Counsel. In this role, you will act as a legal business partner to the international product and business teams, supporting mobile apps and websites across privacy, data protection, and intellectual property matters. The position is based in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and requires travel to our Xiamen headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary legal contact for international business and product teams on legal and compliance issues relating to mobile apps and websites, including drafting and reviewing Privacy Policies, Terms of Service, cookie notices, and related policies;
· Monitor global developments in data protection and ePrivacy laws and translate regulatory changes into clear, actionable guidance for internal stakeholders;
· Assist in designing and maintaining internal policies and procedures for data breach detection and response, cross-border data transfers, and copyright infringement compliance;
· Advise on privacy and compliance requirements to support product launches and ongoing operations in multiple jurisdictions;
· Provide general legal support and contribute to ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the General Counsel.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or above in law from a Common Law jurisdiction;
· Qualified solicitor admitted in a Common Law jurisdiction with 3–8 years of post-qualification experience, with a substantive focus on data protection, ePrivacy, and intellectual property laws;
· In-house legal and compliance experience related to mobile apps and websites at a sizeable technology company;
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin);
· A practical, risk-balanced approach to compliance that supports business objectives while protecting the company, with the ability to propose flexible and creative solutions where appropriate;
· Experience coordinating internal counterparts and external counsel or regulators, with the ability to manage matters independently and follow through with clear accountability.
