Why We Need You:

Meitu is the team behind BeautyPlus, AirBrush, and MagicPic, and we're digging into how beauty and imaging professionals in Brazil think about aesthetics, makeup, and visual expression. This project is all about talking to retouchers, photographers, makeup artists, and medical aesthetics practitioners to understand what actually resonates in the Brazilian market. We need someone based in Brazil who can help us listen, translate, and make sense of what users really mean.

What You'll Do:

· Support 15+ user interviews with participants mostly in Brazil and a few in the US; provide Portuguese-English translation and, once trained, run interviews independently at times that work for Brazilian users.

· Help the team understand the local context behind what people say, including cultural cues, implied meaning, and the way Brazilian users naturally talk about beauty and imagery.

· Write a clear summary after each interview and help with participant scheduling or follow-ups when needed.

· Review Brazilian Portuguese questionnaire copy to make sure it sounds natural, flag anything confusing or unnatural, and do a basic readability pass on any English versions.

· Gather and organize desk research on Brazilian beauty and imagery culture from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Kwai, then turn observations into clear local insights.

Who You Are:

· You're currently living, studying, or working in Brazil and you get how Brazilian users create, talk, and express themselves online.

· You're fluent in Portuguese with a strong feel for natural Brazilian Portuguese wording, and you can communicate with the project team in English or Chinese.

· You're familiar with the social platforms Brazilian users actually use: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Kwai.

· You're interested in or already close to medical aesthetics, makeup, photography, or another visual field.

· You can organize research notes, summarize findings, and pull out patterns without losing local nuance.

· You can maintain relatively stable availability from September to November while the project is running.

Even Better If You:

· You're bilingual in Portuguese and Chinese.
