Why we're hiring
We’re building Vmake, an AI-powered video platform, and we’re on a mission to help Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) tell their stories without the headache of traditional production. We're looking for someone who understands the North American market, knows why a video converts (or flops), and can help us to identify what actually works on the ground.
Who we're looking for (One of these fits)
● The Pro Creator: You run an agency or freelance business helping brands nail their UGC and social ads, with a "best practice" playbook for every category from 3C to Beauty.
● The Savvy Founder: You’re running a Shopify store, an Etsy shop, or a local service (Fitness, Real Estate, etc.). Video is your #1 growth lever, and you’re constantly looking for ways to do it faster and better.
What you’ll actually do
● Be our "Reality Check": Test new features and tell us honestly if they solve real problems for SMBs or if we’re overcomplicating things.
● Define "What Works": Help us define what high-converting video looks like today (UGC styles, ad structures, hooks) and build a library of high-converting video structures.
● Localized Insight: Audit our creative assets. You’ll ensure our marketing doesn't just "translate"—it resonates. You help us nail the slang, the trends, and the visual style that US users trust.
The Checklist
● The Language: Fluent English is a must (Native-level preferred). If you speak Mandarin, that’s a huge plus for communicating with our product team, but not a dealbreaker.
● The Experience: You understand the US e-commerce and social media landscape (TikTok, Reels, etc.) inside out.
● The Mindset: You’re a practitioner, not a theorist.
