The Role
We’re looking for a Product Localization Consultant to help our global apps—like Meitu, Wink, AirBrush—feel at home in the US and Brazil. You won't just be checking translations; you’ll be our cultural compass, ensuring our products are trendy, intuitive, and ahead of the curve in these key markets.
What You’ll Do
- User Research: Run regular interviews to find out what users love, what frustrates them, and what they’re using instead.
- Strategic Insights: Spot the "white space" in the market. You’ll tell us how to differentiate our product and what features will actually stick with local creators.
- Experience Gatekeeper: Regularly "walk through" the app to ensure every feature, filter, and UI element feels native and works flawlessly on the ground.
- Trend Scouting: Keep us ahead of the aesthetic curve. If there’s a new viral photo style or social trend in your region, you’re the first to know.
Who We're looking for-
- A Power User: You live in apps like Instagram and TikTok. You love photography, you’re obsessed with aesthetics, and you probably have a bit of a following (KOL/KOC) yourself.
- Culturally Rooted: You’ve lived/worked in the US or Brazil for years. You don’t just know the language—you know the vibe, the beauty standards, and the digital subcultures.
- Product-Minded: You have a "Product Manager" brain. You can break down a user's frustration into a clear piece of feedback for our engineering team.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with C-end tech and have a sharp eye for UX/UI details.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience as a Product Manager or UX Researcher at a consumer tech company.
- A background in photography, design, or social media growth.
