About DesignKit
DesignKit is an AI-powered design suite by Meitu, built specifically for global e-commerce sellers. We empower independent merchants and SMBs to generate high-quality product photography and marketing assets at a fraction of the traditional cost. As we are in the 0-to-1 stage, your core mission is to bridge the gap between our product and its first wave of authentic, high-value users.
What You’ll Do
● Channel Exploration: Explore and validate sustainable user acquisition channels. This includes, but is not limited to, partnering with YouTube/TikTok tutorial creators, optimizing presence on e-commerce app stores (e.g., Shopify App Store), and engaging with vertical communities like Amazon seller forums and Facebook Groups.
● Influencer/KOL Partnerships: Take full ownership of the influencer marketing lifecycle—identifying, reaching out to, and negotiating with e-commerce KOLs. You will lead everything from content direction to conversion tracking.
● Growth Strategy & Feedback: Analyze performance data to decide which channels to scale and which to pivot. Act as the "eyes and ears" on the front line, translating market signals into actionable insights for the product team to refine features and market fit.
Who We’re Looking For
● 0-to-1 Experience: Proven track record in growth or user acquisition within early-stage teams or startup environments. You know how to build a channel from scratch.
● E-commerce Savvy: Deep understanding of the global e-commerce ecosystem. You can empathize with the pain points and content needs of international sellers.
● Bilingual Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English. You can negotiate seamlessly with global partners and align deeply with our headquarters in China.
● Extreme Ownership: A self-starter with a bias for action. You thrive in autonomy and don’t need to be micromanaged.
Bonus Points
● Hands-on experience running an independent Shopify/DTC store or possessing direct connections within the cross-border seller community.
● Existing relationships or resources within YouTube, TikTok, or major e-commerce communities.
