Position Summary

We are seeking summer legal interns from students enrolled in a credit bearing legal placement programme at the School of Law of a recognised university in Hong Kong (the “University”) to do an internship at our International Legal Department in Hong Kong. This will be a 4 to 6 weeks internship programme intended to provide law students with practical in-house legal experience at a prominent listed tech company. Candidates should note that this is an unpaid internship programme, and no remuneration will be provided for their services. The internship must be coordinated through the University, which will handle the relevant administrative arrangements and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be supervised by one of our team’s in-house lawyers and will gain exposure on a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

· Conducting legal research and comparative analysis on overseas laws and regulations, legal AI tools and related technology solutions

· Assisting in reviewing, updating, and organising contract templates and company secretarial documents for the team

· Assist with reviewing and updating internal company policies and other outdated documentation

· Supporting the optimisation and organisation of the team’s electronic database of legal templates and documents to improve accessibility and usability

· Providing support on ad hoc legal, compliance, and administrative tasks as assigned by the team

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

· They must be law students enrolled in a credit bearing legal placement programme at the University’s School of Law

· Strong command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken)

· Strong legal research, analytical, and organisational skills

· Good attention to detail and ability to handle documents carefully and accurately

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional office environment with strong sense of responsibility

· Interest in in-house legal work, legal operations, contract management, and technology
